Ravens LB Terrell Suggs is suing his agent who passed away in 2011
According to TMZ Sports, Terrell Suggs the Baltimore Ravens star linebacker is suing his former agent Gary Wichard who passed away in 2011. Suggs is trying to land every penny from his 62 million dollar deal.
According to docs filed in federal court in Virginia and obtained by TMZ Sports, Suggs sued the estate of former super agent Gary Wichard the guy who negotiated Terrell’s mega-contract with the Baltimore Ravens in 2009.
Suggs says he was obligated to pay Wichard 3% of his salary for the entirety of his deal but in exchange, Wichard’s agency would actively manage his career and take care of everything from seeking endorsement deals to booking doctor appointments. But when Wichard passed in 2011, Suggs an “inexperienced and unqualified agent.”
To be honest, Suggs should have fired his agent at the time his agent passed if he was not happy. I find this to be a we bit shady. That is 1 million 860 thousand dollars, and without that agent he might have only received a 40 million dollar deal. So suck it up.
