Packers WR Randall Cobb is looking for 9 million per year
Green Bay Packers could have lost Jordy Nelson last year, but they forked over big money. He landed a 4 year deal worth 39 million dollars. Well that came after losing both Donald Driver and James Jones in free agency the years previous to last. Well Randall Cobb is now a free agent and he is looking for only 9 million a year. That is a good price, because the Franchise tag will be closer to 13 million.
There’s no indication that Packers general manager Ted Thompson would resort to using the tag to keep Cobb. Thompson has until March 2, a week before free agency begins, to decide.
The Packers need to jump on that deal.
