Packers will no longer allow Mike McCarthy to call plays; Duties turned over
The Green Bay Packers have made some significant changes along their coaching staff.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that offensive coordinator Tom Clements has been elevated to associate head coach and will assume play-calling duties, a task previously handled by coach Mike McCarthy. Wide receivers coach Edgar Bennett has been tabbed to replace Clements as offensive coordinator.

This sounds like a demotion for McCarthy the very conservative play caller.
