Packers legend Brett Favre says it was a no brainer to hand it off to BeastMode
What would Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre have done if he was Russell Wilson and coaches called for a pass from the 1-yard line? That was the question asked by Doug Gottleib and his answer was simple.
“Well, I would’ve done what my coach wanted me to do, especially as young as Russell is,” Favre told Gottlieb. “There are no guarantees, but I would say the closet guarantee that there ever has been — especially in that situation — is to give the ball to Marshawn Lynch. I’ve never seen him get tackled for negative yardage and … I don’t see (the Patriots) stopping him. …
“I think it was a good play design, but maybe not at that time. It’s a no-brainer to hand it to Marshawn.”
I think 90 percent of America agrees woth Favre, do you?
