Packers head coach wants Letroy Guion back bad; Shows strong support
The NFL is something else. They will back up a player who get busted with 190k dollars in cash, a whole bunch of weed, and a pistol, but then they will turn their back on a guy who fought their teammate in the locker room and was penalized a bunch of times (Vontaze Burfict).
I am confused, but the dope boy Letroy Guion has one supporter.
Although GM Ted Thompson said the Packers were “monitoring” the situation, McCarthy came out strong in support of the defensive tackle, who is scheduled to become a free agent next month. “Obviously, players, all of us, the decisions you make off the field you’re totally responsible for,” McCarthy said. “He’s accepted full responsibility. I’ve talked to him a number of times. He’s back in Green Bay. I stand by what I said during the season [and] after the season: He was an impactful personality and played good football for us. I’m hopeful, if we get past this and the monitoring gives us the green light to go forward, I’d love to have Letroy back.”
