Ndamukong Suh is expected to land a 100 million dollar deal, Will it be with the Lions?
The All-Pro defensive tackle is expected to receive a $100 million in free agency similar to the one J.J. Watt signed with the Texans, but will it be with the Detroit Lions?
Dave Birkett from the Detroit Free Press feels that the Lions will do whatever they can to sign Suh to a long term deal. He claims his most likely destination is Detroit. The Lions also have the option of using their franchise tag on Suh, which would cost the club a projected $26.9 million.
On Saturday, teammate Calvin Johnson told reporters “I’ll do whatever I got to do,” to help the Lions keep Suh in Detroit, but if the Lions cannot pony up the money, they would be stuck with Nick Fairley and CJ Mosley who are both Free Agents as well. It could be interesting if Suh is just looking for a major pay day.
