Michael Sam says being gay is not the reason he is not on a team
In an exclusive first-person essay in Sports Illustrated’s Monday Morning Quarterback on Wednesday, the first openly gay player Michael Sam made one thing clear:
“I don’t believe that being gay has kept me off an NFL roster, but I will challenge anyone who says I don’t have the talent to make it in the league.”
Just weeks ago Sam said aomething different to TMZ. He said it was the reason, I’m confused….
