Michael Sam has a one year offer from the CFL; He still waits for an NFL shot
Tom Pelissero of USA Today said today regarding Michael Sam’s NFL outlook, that the former Missouri standout has applied for the veteran combine:
The former University of Missouri standout has applied for one of about 100 spots in the NFL’s first-ever veteran combine. The hope is that leads to an NFL contract offer and a chance to go to training camp. If not, a one-year contract offer from the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes is waiting for him.
I honestly do not know why Sam is not jumping on the contract offer with the CFL. He was not the greatest tester during the Combine.
