Former Bills head coach lies badly in his first interview with the Jaguars
Doug Marrone spoke publicly for the first time since taking his $4 million guaranteed salary and hitting the open market back on New Year’s Eve.
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said the two didn’t talk much about Marrone’s departure from Buffalo, and Marrone didn’t feel like talking about it much Thursday, either.
He did, however, say that he didn’t leave expecting another head coaching job would be waiting for him, according to Ryan O’Hallaran of the Florida Times-Union.
“You can’t do that in this profession,” Marrone said.
I am sorry coach, but you just learned that doesn’t happen in this business, because you definitely tried your hand.
