Falcons save another 3.5 million dollars by cutting Harry Douglas
One day after releasing veteran running back Steven Jackson, the team has released wideout Harry Douglas, a source informed of the move told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
Steven Jackson’s departure saves the Falcons $3.75 million in cap space, while cutting Douglas trims another $3.5 million off the books.
The Falcons will need to find another receiver, but this could be a very solid option for the Kansas City Chiefs who only have a couple wide receivers under contract. Douglas will be on a team next year, the question is what team.
