Earl Thomas will undergo shoulder surgery today; Expected to miss 6-8 months
The Seattle Seahawks secondary was beaten up badly over their latest run to the Super Bowl. Their star Earl Thomas needed shoulder surgery and according to ESPN, that will happen today. Thomas the former University of Texas standout will miss anywhere from 6-8 months for recovery. That could put the beginning of the season in jeopardy. Either way, a healthy Thomas is better than an injured one. So the Seahawks would be smart to let him get better.
