Who is your role model, and why? 

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the ideal role model for the American dream, achieved greatness from small beginnings. 

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

No 

Did you play any other sports growing up?

California State track and field meet competitor 

Did you play any other positions in football?

I flexed out at line backer in earlier college career.

At your position, what separates you from others?

Blue collar, hardnosed, headache off the ball.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

The Oline tendencies and compare the defensive player on tape to myself.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Haven’t met an opponent to make a lasting impact.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Justin Smith, Tough and strong.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Finding a way to support my football life style and have a personal and financial presence in my son’s life.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Prayer for my son, focus, and the thought of lining up against someone taking food away from my family. 

What is your biggest strength?

My strength, can’t remember the last time I was on a team where I wasn’t the strongest athlete.

What is your biggest weakness?

Even though I have finesse moves in my repertoire, off the ball I tend to lean more toward power moves.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m a blue collar, dirty fingernail, trench soldier. My body is to be used for the good of the team and will exert as much energy as it possibly can for the better of the team.  

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

Never really had a favorite team, followed mostly explosive player like LaDainian Tomlinson and Michael Vick.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Stephen King, Jared Allen, Kate Upton.
