Florida International University
How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?
A few schools but lack of grades so I had to attend junior college
How did you choose your school?
I went on a visit and fell in love with the atmosphere and program.
Where are you from?
Oakland, CA
Who is your role model, and why?
My dad because he pushes me to reach higher limits in my life.
Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?
None
Did you play any other sports growing up?
No
Did you play any other positions in football?
I started at running back my entire football career up until the beginning of my junior college career. My coach felt that I could make the transition and become successful at it. I can play special teams also (gunner, return man)
At your position, what separates you from others?
I am a cover corner and can also make the tackles. I like coming up and being aggressive.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
WR Tendencies, favorite route concepts,, WR’s stance, alignments and how they come out of their breaks.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Da’Vante Parker/Louisville
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I don’t know but my favorite player is Charles Woodson.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Growing up in a single parent environment without my biological father and later building that father son relationship.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Listening to music because it helps me zone out.
What is your biggest strength?
Effort, I will never give up on a play or allow anyone to out-work me.
What is your biggest weakness?
I work to be perfect and I always feel I need to correct some part of my game.
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
The team that gives me a chance will get a player with outstanding effort, responsibility, passion and a mindset that is willing to do anything for the team.
Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?
Charles Woodson and Oakland Raiders
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
My mother, grandpa and father.
