A few FCS schools … I struggled in high school with my grades so I went to junior college first before going division I
How did you choose your school?
After spending a year in junior college, I committed to Arizona State but had wanted to return to Florida to be closer to family since my dad had passed away which is what led to me attending FIU

Bradenton, Florida
Who is your role model, and why?
My dad because he taught me how to be a man

No
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Growing up I also played Basketball and Track & Field
Did you play any other positions in football?
I started off high school on the offensive side of the ball at WR
At your position, what separates you from others?
I am a well-balanced safety I can show the physicality and I can show the cover skills.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
Tendencies , route concepts, favorite routes, WR’s stance and how they get out breaks, alignment, style of play of QB and his strength and weakness along with the backfield and o-line. I really take pride in film study

University of Pittsburgh running back James Conner
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I am not sure about that one
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
The passing of my father and I overcome it with faith
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Yea I have a portrait of my dad that I keep with me while saying my prayer before the game
What is your biggest strength?
My biggest strength is play recognition and ability to get to the ball
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is that I stride for perfection and im never really satisfied with my performance always looking for something to correct
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
A wise man named James A. Baldwin once stated “ The most dangerous creation of any society is the man who has nothing to lose”. I’m that type of player and I keep that mindset to go 110% at everything from film study to running down on special teams.
Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?
I don’t have a favorite player nor favorite team
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
I would have dinner with my dad, mom, and my grandmother
