Colts GM Ryan Grigson blew the whistle on the Patriots
NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent revealed on an upcoming episode of “60 Minutes Sports” per MMQB.com that Colts general manager Ryan Grigson blew the whistle against the New England Patriots. There have been conflicting reports throughout about where the decision to investigate the reportedly underinflated footballs began.
Initial reports seemed to indicate it was Colts linebacker D’Qwell Jackson who tipped off the Colts after intercepting Tom Brady in the AFC Championship, but he’s shot down those rumors. Some wondered if the Baltimore Ravens tipped off the Colts going into the game, but Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh on NBC’s Super Bowl coverage Sunday vehemently denied any sort of role in the controversy.
Either way, the Patriots were wrong….
