Browns need to re-sign Brian Hoyer today; He could be the best available player
The Cleveland Browns were pretty solid this year and it was because Brian Hoyer was an animal for the team. He fell apart later on the year, but the man did have them on the right track. When the Browns pulled Hoyer in the Bills game and let Johnny Manziel come in, the season was basically given up on.
Well today Johnny Manziel checked himself into a rehab. This happened a week after Josh Gordon who was partying with Johnny Football failed a drug test to alcohol. Well the Browns are now in a tough pickle, but if I am Joe Linta Hoyer’s agent, I am trying to land my client a new deal.
Brian Hoyer is a good quarterback and there are many teams with a dire need at the QB position to include, Buccaneers, Bills, Rams, Titans and more. If Linta can force the Browns to pull the trigger on a Hoyer extension, this seems like the most logical time.
