Packers QB hopes the team makes Bryan Bulaga is a main priority in free agency
The Green Bay Packers have 11 free agents this upcoming off-season and Aaron Rodgers talked about one of them specifically hoping he is a high priority.
“I think if you look at our success in the second half of the season, it started up front. We had the offensive line that we’ve never had here in my 10 years,” Rodgers said on his weekly radio show on 540 ESPN and ESPNWisconsin.com last Tuesday. “The way that they protected and blocked and the way we were able to run the football on some good defenses, that was really impressive and I’m really proud of those guys. They were able to stay together and really grow as a group. You saw some guys play some excellent football.
“It starts up front. If we can keep that line together, that’s the core of what you need to be successful.”
The Packers will have several guys that are free agents, but Bulaga played extremely well after coming back from a major injury. He will definitely receive a pay day in the thin offensive line group this year.
