Marcus Mariota has a sprained AC Joint in his throwing shoulder; Undecided on throwing at Combine
Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota was asked to join the Seniors at the Reeses Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, but he politely rejected the offer. Well there could be a reason for that, it sounds like Mariota is dealing with a shoulder injury.
“Right now we’re still making that decision, whether to throw at the combine. I had to kinda rest about a week-and-a-half,” Mariota said, according to staradvertiser.com. “I sprained the AC (shoulder) joint. But now, I’m able to throw. Feels good.”
The Heisman Trophy winner said he is unsure if he will throw passes at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis next month, due to an injury he suffered in the Ducks’ national championship loss to Ohio State.
