If Jack Del Rio is hired in Oakland he could bring Mike Smith with him
According to Steve Corkran, should Jack Del Rio become Oakland’s next head coach, his first choice for a defensive coordinator would be former Falcons head man Mike Smith, who filled that position under Del Rio for five years in Jacksonville.
This is a great move, because the Raiders would be able to teach Khalil Mack with two former NFL head coaches.
Mack balled out his rookie year, but if he can learn more he will just become a terror in the NFL.
