Five free agents expected to land huge money deals in 2015
2015 free agency is not the best class for quarterbacks but there are some pretty solid players around the league that should get a monstrous pay day soon. We are going to give you a top 5 list of guys we expect to land a mega deal.
Ndamukong Suh – Detroit Lions – DT – If Mario Williams, J.J. Watt and Albert Haynesworth can land a 100 million dollar deal, we expect Suh will also demand that price tag. Suh is a dominating interior lineman that forces teams to double and triple team him. The Lions defense was rated number one because of him, so expect him to eat very good this year.
Jeremy Maclin – Philadelphia Eagles – WR – Maclin rose up to the challenge this year to fill the void of DeSean Jackson who left in free agency, and boy did he make the Eagles pay for not giving him a big deal last year. Maclin will require some serious coin this year. The Eagles better hope to land him to a nice deal, or else another team like the Raiders who have tons of cap will chuck bread at him.
Demaryius Thomas – Denver Broncos – WR – Demaryius Thomas is ready to get paid and we highly doubt that the Broncos can keep both Thomas’ in town. If the team wants to win they will need to have both return, and that might not be feasible. We expect Demaryius to get hit with the Franchise tag.
Julius Thomas – Denver Broncos – TE – As we mentioned above, the Broncos are going to want to keep both of the big weapons for Peyton, but we expect Thomas to get slapped with the tag. If he does not get slapped with the Franchise Tag, someone might be willing to offer some major money for the premium big man.
Dez Bryant – Dallas Cowboys – WR – We expect the Cowboys to Franchise DeMarco Murray, and if they do, expect Dez Bryant to get a very nice pay day. The Dallas Cowboys need him to return next season, if they do not get him signed up long term, there will be a serious issue.
