Cris Carter’s son is working out today for the team that once released him
Duron Carter is working out for the Vikings on Friday, per NFL.com’s Chris Wesseling, after having visited the Buccaneers, Colts and Chiefs.
The 49ers, Browns, Panthers are among a host of other teams reported to have interest.
Carter went undrafted in 2013 after bouncing from Ohio State to Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College to Alabama to Florida Atlantic. Beyond a reputation for immaturity that contributed to his original release by the Vikings, Carter faced questions about his work ethic and academic track record.
