The San Francisco 49ers are really interested in adding Lane Kiffin the University of Alabama offensive coordinator according to Adam Schefter.

Alabama OC Lane Kiffin is a front-runner for 49ers OC job. Colts special assistant to HC Rob Chudzinski also under consideration.
Kiffin, 39, is coming off a wildly successful first season as the Crimson Tide’s play-caller, finishing 3rd in the SEC in total offense and 17th in the nation. Kiffin hasn’t been in the NFL since a disaster 20-game stint as the Raiders’ head coach from 2007-2008 when he went 5-15.
