Texans WR Andre Johnson wants to keep playing for the team
Andre Johnson might no longer be the number one wide receiver in Houston, but he definitely wants to remain with the team.
“I don’t want to play for nobody else,” Johnson said Thursday, via the Houston Chronicle. “I’ve been here for 12 years. It don’t think it would feel right. I’ve seen everybody come and go in this locker room … (My) locker has been here the longest. I can’t imagine how it would feel to put on someone else’s uniform … You always want it to turn out OK. I want things to work out here.”
Johnson moved into the top 10 overall last week with his 992 reception and 13,381 yards career. I do not know about you, but I would give Johnson a contract extension. The guy is the Houston Texans, he is the greatest Texan ever to suit up for the time being.
