Jay Glazer is reporting that the San Francisco 49ers will cut Jim Harbaugh loose within 24 to 48 hours after San Francisco’s season ends.

Since the 49ers aren’t making the playoffs, that end will come next Sunday at home against Arizona.
Harbaugh has led the team to three straight NFC Championships and one Super Bowl. But the team has fallen apart this year, going 7-8 through 15 games.
