FAMU finds a new Head Coach; Who has NFL experience
Florida A&M University hired a new head coach today according to their Facebook page.
Alex Wood was the interim head coach, offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Buffalo. He was named interim there in October. He also was the head coach at James Madison before he became the quarterbacks coach for the Minnesota Vikings in 1999, and later became the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals.
Wood coached the running backs at Miami from 1989 until 1993, picking up two National Championships (1989, 1991) along the way.
This is a very good hire for the Rattlers.
