Did Jay Gruden lose his team with his RG3 comments?
Eatlier this year RG3 made a comment about not having star players around him that had players fired up, such as Desean Jackson, but did Jay Gruden’s comments cause more harm?
The coach publicly apologized for the comments and spoke privately with Griffin about it.
This week, Gruden had a Q&A session with ESPN’s John Keim and gave a detailed explanation of what the locker room was like during the time.
“I sat down and explained some things: ‘It came out today, I said this or that and that’s not what I meant.’ The big thing was the time where I challenged his fundamentals and didn’t like him and all that stuff and there was an issue at a team meeting where something had to be said and unfortunately all hell broke loose.”
The question is do you think Gruden crossed the line for his comments? Also could those comments cost his the trust of his players?
