Browns pull Brian Hoyer, but will that decision haunt them?
The Cleveland Browns are in the playoff hunt, yesterday even though they lost, the Ravens and Steelers also lost. The only team in their division to get a win was the Bengals and they barely squeaked by. Well their head coach pull out all strings when he pulled Brian Hoyer during the game and put in Johnny Manziel. While Manziel drove them down the field for a touchdown, he also fumbled for a touchdown that was called back.
I am not sure about the decision to pull Hoyer, because I feel it will come back to haunt them. Hoyer too was blown away by the decision.
“Yeah, no doubt. This is my team, I’ve always felt that way. We’ll see what happens,” Hoyer said, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The decision came after Hoyer threw his second interception of the day (and fifth in the last two weeks) and ended his day with 18 completions in 30 attempts for 192 yards. Not all of the offensive issues were Hoyer’s fault, which might have been why he said he was shocked to find himself on the bench as the game came to an end. I still feel that Hoyer gives the Browns the best shot to win, how about you?
I honestly feel that Johnny Manziel is still not ready, let him sit and learn the playbook. Maybe the Browns fans were happy by the touchdown, but will they be happy if they fall out the playoff picture completely?
