Arizona Cardinals head coach calls out Patrick Peterson for allowing career day
Last week, Patrick Peterson the former LSU standout corner called out Julio Jones saying he’d gotten the best of Jones during their epic SEC battles in college. Peterson went on to give up 10 receptions and a career-high 189 yards in a 29-18 loss to the Falcons. Well today his head coach sounded off about the performance calling out Peterson.
“You better watch out when you call people out,” Arians said, via ESPN.com. “You better be ready to play. If you’re going to call them out, call them out but don’t give up [10] and a career day.”
Peterson was not the lone reason the team lost the game, but it was a big factor. He had the worst game of his career, after talking mad trash. Neither Darrelle Revis or Richard Sherman have given up days like that. So Arians is right, if you are going to call out a player, you better be ready to shine. Peterson you didn’t shine at all…..
