Patriots apologize for their racially charged statement (Photo)
Yesterday the New England Patriots became the first team to hit one million twitter followers and while they were excited to hit one million, they failed to look at the followers twitter name.
The Patriots quickly responded apologizing for their statement.
@Patriots: We apologize for the regrettable tweet that went out from our account. Our filtering system failed & we will be more vigilant in the future.
