Mississippi State safety has been suspended after arrest
Justin Cox the Mississippi State safety will not be available this week after he was arrested.
The off-campus incident occurred early Friday morning at an apartment complex, where Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to a call at about 3 a.m. and discovered a female victim with a head injury, according to the Starkville Daily News.
Cox was arrested at the scene and booked into the Oktibbeha County Jail, according to NFL.com’s Chase Goodbread.
Cox, a junior college transfer in his second year at MSU, has appeared in nine games this season, making 21 tackles, an interception and four pass breakups.
