Melvin Gordon is closing in on Ladanian Tomlinson’s record
Melvin Gordon just broke Wisconsin’s single-game rushing record. It was previously held by Ron Dayne, who rushed for 339 vs. Hawaii on Nov. 30, 1996.
The FBS record is also well within reach, which is 406 by TCU’s LaDanian Tomlinson on Nov. 20, 1999 vs. UTEP.
There is still a quarter left to play and I could see Gordon smashing the record.
**Update**
@IanKenyonNFL: Melvin Gordon just broke the FBS single game rushing record… in three quarters.
