Eagles tried to pull off a trade for Vincent Jackson
According to NFL insider Jay Glazer, the Philadelphia Eagles almost made a trade prior to the 2014 NFL trade deadline earlier this week. Glazer made an appearance on the FOX pre-game show and noted that the Eagles tried to acquire Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson.

The news will serve only to increase the chances of a trade happening in the off-season, to the Eagles or someone else. And it suggests the Eagles are thinking about upgrading their roster with larger receivers, which Jackson is — and which Kelly prefers.
