What is your name? Anthony Hooks Jr
Where do you play college football? Webber International University
How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?
A few very small schools called me from time to time and when I say small I mean all D2’s and D3’s but only one D2 school gave a real chance to play college football
How did you choose your school? Webber international University liked my film and wanted me to come play for them another reason why I choose Webber was because it was located in Florida and I never been to Florida
Where are you from? I was born in Fairfax Virginia but was raised in Charlotte North Carolina
Who is your role model, and why?
My DB Coach Roosevelt Williams who coachedme when I was at Webber, he actually took the time and pulled me to aside multiple times and told me what I was doing wrong weather it was on and off the field. Not only did he tell me what I was doing wrong but he always explained to me the consequences off my actions. For example if I made a mistake in a game or at practice he would point it out and tell me what I’m doing wrong and tell me what would happen if I continue to make the same mistake. He also did the same thing when I did stupid things that weren’t football related. He always told me where I would end up if continued to make those stupid mistakes.
Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying? Two. One of them told me to continue to make plays and the other one told me he loved the way I compete

Did you play any other sports growing up? Yes. I went to a basketball camp when I was 8 or 9.When I was in middle school I ran track for one year
Did you play any other positions in football? I played every position in recreation ball when I was little, but after that I played strictly CB I played a little bit of safety my freshman year in high school but that’s it.
At your position, what separates you from others?
I feel that I’m quicker than a lot of DB’s and my footwork and hips are quicker than most and I love using my technique and being physical at all times
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
Tendencies of the quarterback and receivers also route combinations. I also like to watch and see if the receiver can get off the press and how fast and swift he runs his route. I also watch to see if a receiver likes to block
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
The toughest player I had to face was a high school teammate of mine who played receiver named Blair Boler
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I would compare myself to Darrell revis because he likes playing press man and exhales at playing press man but also can play off man and zone just as well as he can play press man. He also can tackle very well
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Starting off my senior year of college football off at 0-3 then going ahead and winning rest of the 8 games of the season. I overcame this by just making sure that I was leading by example with my play on the field and continued praying                                                                                                                                 Do you have any pre-game rituals? No not really sometimes I’ll listen to music to make the time go by faster.
What is your biggest strength?
I’m strong mentally and very confident in myself
What is your biggest weakness?
Staying up with my religion
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
You would be making a great decision by selecting me to be a member of your team. I make plays I show up to practice and meetings early. I demonstrate great character on and off the field. I know how to follow before I lead once I become a leader I will be a great leader. I know how to inspire my teammates to win and play with passion. I expect perfection out of myself and I encourage others around me to do the same. I LOVE to compete and enjoy competition I also love the game and have fun when I’m playing it
Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?
Growing up and still to this day my favorite player has always been Deion Sanders and my favorite team has always been the Steelers.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
Jesus Christ, my grandfather, and Deion Sanders
