Adam Vinatieri was once replaced by an OT to kick extra points
Last week Adam Vinatieri hit 100 points in his career for 17 straight years, which is an NFL record.
He did this at the age of 41. Vinatieri is also 2 field goals away from 5th All-Time in field goals made. But did you know Vinatieri was once benched by an Offensive Tackle in college to kick extra points?
@Gil_Brandt: In his senior year at South Dakota State, Vinatieri was replaced as team’s extra-point kicker by a offensive tackle.
What a great career, can you say First Ballot Hall of Famer?
