Today Terrelle Pryor was worked out by a team as a wide receiver?
Today Terrelle Pryor was beaten out of a roster spot on the Cincinnati Bengals by Greg Little a former second round pick. According to NFL.com’s Conor Orr, Pryor worked out for the Bengals but not as a quarterback?
According to Yahoo Sports, Marvin Lewis and Co. had the former dual-threat passer in for a recent workout. And while this was more than likely preparation for an emergency situation, it says something about Pryor, who has maintained a presence in the public eye since his release from the Seahawks back in late August.
Pryor also reportedly worked out for Tampa Bay back in September.
It would be interesting to see how many teams have expressed interest in having Pryor do some non-quarterback drills during workouts. The 6-4, 233-pound passer has run the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds, which is something you can’t coach.
The Cincinnati Enquirer believes the 6-foot-4, 233-pound Pryor was “almost certainly” worked out as a receiver, but there’s been no confirmation
It honestly sounds like Pryor will do anything to get another shot in the NFL. I would give him a shot at WR, would you?
