Tennessee Titans will not win until they have a RB; Could they trade for Zac Stacy?
The Tennessee Titans need a running back to keep the pressure off of Zach Mettenberger. They have not been able to establish a run game, and with the recent arrest of Shonn Greene, the Titans are truly needing a pick me up. Maybe the Rams head coach will give the Titans a good deal for his running back Stacy.
Zac Stacy rushed for 17 yards on five carries in the Rams’ Week 8 loss to the Chiefs, adding three catches for 20 yards.
Back from sideline banishment in Week 7 when he played just one offensive snap, Stacy was the third back through the rotation on Sunday, tying Tre Mason for the team lead with eight touches. Benny Cunningham, who got the start, received five touches. Stacy also dropped a pass.
Stacy had almost a 1000 yards last year and rushed for 7 touchdowns. He would be a very good addition to the Titans, and would come rather cheap. He is on his rookie contract and the Titans would have a very good one/two punch with Sankey and Stacy. More a thunder/lightning approach.
