Statistics point to Steelers and Big Ben winning at home tonight versus Texans
Tonight the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the hungry J.J. Watt and the Houston Texans. The Texans are supposed to get back first overall pick Jadeveon Clowney, which means expect a big time pass rush. The problem is Ben Roethlisberger is a stud on Monday Night Games at Heinz Field.

Much of the frustration and anger last week was directed at coach Mike Tomlin, whose team is 3-3 this season and 19-19 since the start of the 2012 season. There were loud calls for offensive coordinator Todd Haley to be fired and defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau to retire. Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher and star player Hines Ward said the offense was “finesse” and the defense “soft.” Ward took the criticism to another level by going after Roethlisberger and the way he runs the no-huddle offense.
“I put the blame on Ben Roethlisberger,” he said on NBCSN. “Todd Haley’s not calling the plays, Ben is.”
Roethlisberger has had big games on Monday night at Heinz Field, his finest coming in 2007 in a 38-7 win against the Baltimore Ravens when he threw five first-half touchdown passes. The Steelers are 7-0 on Monday night at Heinz Field. The critics are waiting to see if tonight will be their first loss.
