Seahawks tried to sign Kiero Small from Browns, that is why he was activated
Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman broke his foot during pre-game warmups. Coach Pete Carroll said Coleman simply took a wrong step and suffered the break. There was no prognosis, but that sounds like an injury that would keep him out a while.
So today the Seahawks tried to make a power move. They wanted to sign Kiero Small from the Browns practice squad, but the team activated him quickly to prevent that from happening.

With FB Derrick Coleman hurt, Seahawks wanted to sign Kiero Small, whom they drafted. That’s why Browns elevated Small to active roster.
Expect the Seahawks to sign someone soon.
