Seahawks take a shot at Percy Harvin on team website
Today the Seattle Seahawks took a major shot at traded wide receiver Percy Harvin. They posted this stat, saying basically the team was better off without Harvin.
Russell Wilson has been a more productive and efficient quarterback without Percy Harvin on the field than he has with Harvin in the lineup, as these comparative numbers from ESPN Stats & Info show:
Category With Harvin Without Harvin
Snaps 173 118
TD-Int. 5-2 7-0
Avg. Pass Distance 6.2 8.1
Total QBR 45.3 71.0
This is pretty wild, then they released this statement from GM John Schneider.
“Although this was an extremely difficult decision, we are constantly evaluating our team and believe at this time, that this is in our best interest to move the team forward,” Seahawks general manager John Schneider said in a statement released by the team. “We thank Percy for his efforts that contributed to a Super Bowl XLVIII victory and wish him well.”
