Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin suffered a concussion
Carolina Panthers rely on rookie wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin quite a bit, but bow he could miss time.
Coach Ron Rivera said that Benjamin showed up for work on Monday with a headache, and he has been going through the concussion protocol. He wasn’t at practice Wednesday. It’s unclear if he’ll be available for this week’s game in Green Bay.
The injury appeared to happen on Carolina’s final play from scrimmage in overtime. Vontaze Burfict delivered a big hit on Benjamain to get the receiver to the ground and force a field goal.
