Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin has not passed the concussion tests yet
Last week, Carolina Panthers rookie receiver Kelvin Benjamin suffered a concussion when he took a mean shot from Vontaze Burfict. Well today, his coach said he is questionable for this week because he has not passed the team’s concussion protocol yet.
Panthers coach Ron Rivera told reporters after practice that rookie wideout Kelvin Benjamin was questionable for Sunday’s game against the Packers because of last week’s concussion.
Benjamin practiced today for the first time this week, but hasn’t yet been cleared by an independent neurologist.
If he can’t go, the Panthers will try to match the Packers’ offense with a group of receivers including Jason Avant, Jerricho Cotchery, Philly Brown and Brenton Bersin.
