Today the Carolina Panthers released Charles Godfrey after the team tried to convert their former third-round pick, after they moved him from safety to nickel cornerback this year, after the Panthers cut his pay and signed NFC South cast-offs Thomas DeCoud and Roman Harper.Steve Reed @SteveReedAP 2 hours agoCharles Godfrey ranks among the worst DBs in the league in 2014 allowing 93.3 percent completions, second-worst in NFL, according to STATS.
I would sign this man, he was a very solid safety. There are several teams that could use him at the safety position right now. Dallas Cowboys are a team I would keep an eye on.
