New York Giants are hungry, they want to prove to everyone they can win
The 3-4 New York Giants have a lot to prove according to Jason Pierre-Paul. Their division is not really up for grabs because the Cowboys are slowly pulling away, but they are in the toughest division in football. This week the Giants face Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. To many it is just another game, but to the Giants this is the playoffs.
“This is like the playoffs for us,” defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul said, per Newsday. “We gotta win, basically. We gotta win…(the playoffs) have started.”
The Giants sit two games back in the loss column to both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East, and veteran linebacker Jameel McClain wants the team to right the ship.
“Nine weeks of focus, nine weeks for a season, nine weeks of passion, all of those things,” linebacker Jameel McClain added. “We get a chance to show the world who we are, how we finish, and it’s a great opportunity for this team to prevail. My mentality is nine weeks to win.”
Last week the GM wanted Eli Manning to unleash the beast and don’t hold back. This could be another bad game for the Colts defense who was performing well….
