Indianapolis Colts are finally establishing a running game
The Indianapolis Colts have not been able to run the ball making them one dimensional, but most teams still cannot stop Andrew Luck anyways so it has been working out for them. Well things look to be on the up and up for the Colts. Yesterday the Colts shredded the Bengald defense. Shoot Trent Richards looked like he was going to hit a 100 yards until he injured his hamstring in the fourth quarter. He had rushed for 77 yards on 14 attempts. The 77 yards were two yards shy of Richardson’s highest total as a Colt, 79 yards against Philadelphia in Week 2.
His injury took away from an afternoon when the Colts averaged 5.0 yards a carry and ran for a season-high 171. Sunday marked the second time this season that the Colts have rushed for at least 150 yards. They ran for 169 yards against the Eagles.
If the Colts can continue to run the ball, and get points out of Ahmad Bradshaw, watch out. This Colts team has become a huge favorite of mine, because they are playing in all three phases right now at a high level. They are a hard team to beat.
