Giants signed RB Michael Cox and Jayron Hosley off their practice squad
The New York Giants signed both Jayron Hosley and Michael Cox off their practice squad. Cox was signed because Rashad Jennings was injured last week.
A seventh-round pick in last year’s draft, Cox is getting the call with Rashad Jennings sidelined by a sprained MCL. He’ll be the No. 3 running back behind Andre Williams and Peyton Hillis for the next couple weeks.
Expect Andre Williams to have a huge game this week against the Eagles. In a corresponding move the team waived WR Julian Talley and CB Chandler Fenner.
