Detroit Lions offensive line has been having trouble and the Vikings know how to get to Stafford

teddyThis week the Detroit Lions will face the Minnesota Vikings and while everyone is expecting the Lions to have a field day against the Vikings, I would not jump that gun so fast.

The Lions offensive line has been horrible so far this year allowing 17 sacks.  In the past three weeks the sack total has doubled week to week.  The Lions allowed a season high six sacks last week against the Buffalo Bills.  This number is rising because Stafford does not have his running backs to rely on because of injury and Calvin Johnson (Mr. Throw it Up) is not on the field as well.

The Lions will face the Vikings this week who know how to get to Stafford. They have sacked Stafford 27 times in eight games against the Vikings in his career, including five times last season.

If the Vikings can continue to apply pressure on Stafford watch out the team could be in for a rude awakening. This team needs Megatron, and Teddy looked pretty darn good in his first start. I would not be surprised to see the Vikings get an upset this weekend, especially if the team can get Stafford on the ground.
