Colt McCoy is making a name for himself, but Redskins will stay with RG3
The Washington Redskins have been pretty solid in the last two games under Colt McCoy. The team is 2-0 since he took over for the Redskins. A matter of fact according to ESPN Stats and Info McCoy has a higher completion percentage than Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers. That is pretty impressive. While McCoy did make a few mental mistakes he was able to hang in there and get the job done against their division rivals.

McCoy is playing better than Kirk Cousins was playing before the wheels came off, but Gruden isn’t leaving the door open for McCoy to keep the job.
“We went into training camp and did all the OTAs with Robert Griffin as our starter, so when Robert’s back, Robert’s our starter,” Gruden said after Monday night’s win, via the Washington Post. “That hasn’t changed. I haven’t varied off of that or wavered off of that. In my mind, Robert, when he’s ready, he’ll be ready to go.”
I wonder if the Redskins will eventually turn back to McCoy if RG3 cannot get the job done? It will be interesting.
