It’s Bryce Brown time in Buffalo; Players vouch for the former Eagle
The Buffalo Bills running game took a huge loss this week against the Minnesota Vikings when both C.J. Spiller (collarbone) and Fred Jackson (groin) went down with injuries. Spiller will be lost for the year, but Jackson feels he will be back in a few weeks.
Fred Jackson, during his weekly radio spot on WGR-AM in Buffalo, confirmed that his injury will not require surgery and the timeline for recovery typically lasts four weeks. Jackson added that the team has the utmost confidence in Brown to carry the load. The Bills traded a fourth round pick for Bryce Brown during the draft, and now he will finally get the carries he was hoping for. Jackson has quite a bit of faith in Brown.
“He’s an every-down back,” Jackson said, per the Bills’ official Twitter account. “He can do it all. We won’t miss a beat.”
