Bills players were upset they were labeled “Underdogs” by Vegas
The Buffalo Bills defense showed up yesterday facing the New York Jets. The Jets were favored in the game and it was the first time ever a 1-6 team was favored over a team with a winning record. The Bills were getting three points, and that inspired the Bills players especially Mike Williams the former Syracuse wide receiver.
“Its kind of good to beat Vegas,” Williams said, via the Syracuse Post-Standard. “I think a lot of guys took that personal and went out and played hard. That was No. 1 on the bulletin board right there. I think that was the first time a one-win team was favored over a winning team. We kind of took it personal and went out and played.”
The Bills blew out the Jets putting up a forty burger. That is because rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins exploded on the Jets secondary. It will not get easier for the Jets, while the Bills will be on a bye next week.
