Bills defense will be ready to make their coach happy in his return
Buffalo Bills will face the Detroit Lions this year and it is a huge game for one person. That person is Jim Schwartz the former Lions head coach that was fired from the team last year. The Bills new defensive coordinator of the Bills may not admit the game is any different, but he is going to do anything and everything possible to shut down the passing attack of the Lions. Schwartz and his Lions were booed during his final home game last season, a 23-20 loss to the New York Giants. On Friday, Schwartz said he isn’t concerned with how fans receive him when he returns to Ford Field for the first time since that game. While Schwartz says it doesn’t matter his defense understands that it is a huge game for him.
“It doesn’t matter,” he said. “It’s about the game. That’s certainly not important.”
I expect the Bills to come out firing all guns and really putting pressure on the Lions O-Line who has given up 10 sacks in the past three weeks. The Bills are likely to be without Kyle Williams, but they have been getting a good push this year. If the Lions can make Stafford uncomfortable, expect the Bills and Kyle Orton to get a win on the road.
